‘The bear that left a mark in the sky’ is the portrait of three exceptional women dedicated to the conservation of biodiversity and who for one reason or another have ended up living in the depths of rural Spain.
Luisa Abenza, a wildlife tracker, Sofía G. Berdasco, a mountain guide for the sighting of large carnivores, and Lorena Juste, head of bird reintroduction programmes, are featured in this documentary film directed by Mar López, co-founder of the magazine The Flight of the Rook.
The film introduces us to these women, letting us glimpse their personality and their way of life, immersing us fully in the issues that affect them as both defenders of biodiversity and as inhabitants of a thinly populated rural Spain.
